S.T.A.R.T. Method


Start with learning what your target customer wants to buy from you online.
Before you market your business, reach out to your target customer to see what they want to buy online. Creating products for your business with little to no research can lead to failure. Developing your brand around your target market’s needs and wants will not only cater to an existing market but will also tap new ones.

Take time to do your research on your industry, competitors, and customers.
After learning what your target customers want, then take time to research those who are already selling in your industry. Product research goes hand in hand with industry research, competitor analysis, and market research. These three research methods make up a strong business brand that converts.

Assess your business brand and align it with what your target customer wants, and that makes you stand out online.
So you’ve done your research, next you want to make sure your business brand is what your target customer is looking for online. The data you compiled when researching will help you assess if your branding stands true to your target market’s wants and needs.

Since people online are visual, consider creating your media package regarding what your target customers like most. This includes colors, images, messages, video, etc. By gearing your marketing package to what appeals to them, it can attract more buyers.
